The purpose of this article is these pages describe my view of biblical end-time passages.

I have provided some articles about the book of Revelation: A Verse by Verse Commentary and a Glossary of Symbols.

End Time Prophecy Leads to Rome | The Kingdom of Israel

Summary

After becoming a Christian, I first learned the premillennial, pre-tribulation rapture end-time viewpoint, which is the accepted view of many denominations. Since then, however, in studying the biblical passages I've come to the conclusion that premillennialism is incorrect. I now accept one of the many flavors of amillennialism. This is the standard view of Augustine, Catholicism, and many in the Reformed Tradition.

The purpose of these pages:

To avoid confusion I should mention:

  • I do not agree with Replacement Theology (although I use the phrase "the church = Israel").
  • I do not agree with some of the tenets of Reformed Theology.
  • I am not a five-point Calvinist.
  • I do not embrace Covenant Theology although I think it has some helpful perspectives.
  • I am not a full preterist. I believe the second coming of Christ (parousia) is a future event, visible to all.
  • Partially as a result of my research in end-time prophecy, I have recently (2002) converted to Catholicism.
